Baked Lemon Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 1 lemon, juiced and zested

– 2 garlic cloves, minced

– 1 teaspoon dried thyme

– 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 1 lemon, sliced for garnish

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, lemon juice and zest, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.

3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour the lemon butter mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.

4. Arrange lemon slices around the chicken in the dish.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and juices run clear.

6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving, spooning extra sauce from the dish over the chicken.
