Classic BLT Sandwich

Who can resist the traditional BLT with a twist? Elevate your lunch with our gourmet BLT sandwich, which includes crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes, all topped with handcrafted garlic aioli. It’s a simple pleasure that never fails!

Ingredients

– 8 slices of thick-cut bacon

– 4 large lettuce leaves, preferably romaine or butter lettuce

– 2 ripe tomatoes, sliced

– 8 slices of sourdough bread

– 4 tablespoons mayonnaise

– 1 clove garlic, minced

– Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Cook the bacon in a large pan over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels and let drain.

2. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to make aioli.

3. Toast the sourdough pieces till golden brown.

4. To construct the sandwiches, put a liberal quantity of garlic aioli over one side of each bread piece.

5. Layer the lettuce leaves on four slices of bread, then the tomato slices and the bacon. Top with the remaining bread slices, aioli side down.

6. Divide each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
