🍤🍝 One-Pan Shrimp Alfredo

A rich, creamy pasta dish that comes together in just one pan. Tender shrimp, silky Alfredo sauce, and perfectly cooked fettuccine make this recipe an easy yet impressive dinner for busy weeknights.

📝 Ingredients

250 g fettuccine pasta
300 g shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Shrimp

In a large skillet or deep pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
Add the shrimp, season lightly with salt and black pepper, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.

Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.

2️⃣ Sauté the Garlic

In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

3️⃣ Add Liquids and Pasta

Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well to combine.
Add the fettuccine pasta and Italian seasoning.

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

4️⃣ Cook the Pasta

Let the pasta cook in the sauce for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
As it cooks, the pasta will absorb the liquid and the sauce will begin to thicken.

5️⃣ Add the Cheese

Once the pasta is tender, stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese melts and the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

6️⃣ Return the Shrimp

Add the cooked shrimp back into the pan and gently toss everything together so the shrimp are coated in the Alfredo sauce.

Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through.

7️⃣ Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the pasta and serve immediately while hot.
