Christmas Marshmallow Pop

Here’s a fun and festive recipe for Christmas Marshmallow Pops! These are easy to make, customizable, and a perfect treat for the holiday season.

Ingredients:

  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 12 lollipop sticks or candy canes (if you want a peppermint twist)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts (you can use milk or dark chocolate, too)
  • 1 cup red or green candy melts (for a colorful pop)
  • Christmas-themed sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or colored sugar for decoration
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for smoother dipping)

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Marshmallows:

  • Insert a lollipop stick or a candy cane into each marshmallow, pushing it about halfway through. Be gentle to avoid tearing the marshmallows.

2. Melt the Chocolate:

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts by microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring between each round until smooth. You can add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil if the chocolate seems too thick.
  • If you are using colored candy melts (red or green), repeat this process in a separate bowl.

3. Dip the Marshmallows:

  • Hold each marshmallow by the stick and dip it into the melted chocolate or candy melts, turning it to coat the marshmallow evenly.
  • Gently tap the stick on the edge of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate.

4. Decorate:

  • Before the chocolate sets, quickly sprinkle your Christmas-themed sprinkles, crushed candy canes, or colored sugar over the marshmallow. You can even drizzle additional colored candy melts over the pops for extra decoration.
  • Place the coated marshmallows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a cooling rack.

5. Set the Pops:

  • Allow the marshmallow pops to sit at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is fully set.

6. Serve:

  • Once set, the marshmallow pops are ready to be enjoyed! You can display them in a jar or arrange them on a festive plate.

Tips:

  • Add a peppermint twist: Use candy canes instead of lollipop sticks for a festive touch and a peppermint flavor.
  • Make it a fun activity: These pops are great for kids to help decorate with different toppings.
  • Storing: Store the marshmallow pops in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

These Christmas Marshmallow Pops are a fun and festive treat that everyone will love. They make great party favors, stocking stuffers, or even holiday decorations!
