📝 Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter Shrimp

1½ lbs large shrimp, peeled & deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt & freshly cracked black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice

For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Linguine

12 oz linguine
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Extra Parmesan for garnish

🍽️ How to Make It

1️⃣ Cook the Linguine

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook linguine until al dente according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Sauté the Garlic Butter Shrimp

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Add shrimp, paprika, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and lightly golden.

Finish with lemon juice and fresh parsley. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.

3️⃣ Make the Creamy Parmesan Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

Pour in heavy cream and let simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.

Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

4️⃣ Toss the Pasta

Add drained linguine directly into the sauce. Toss until evenly coated.

If needed, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to loosen the sauce and create a glossy finish.

5️⃣ Plate & Serve

Twirl creamy linguine onto plates.

Top with garlic butter shrimp and spoon any extra pan sauce over the top.

Finish with extra Parmesan and a sprinkle of parsley.
